There are two heating method of hot runner nozzle, the inside heating with heating tubular and the outside heating with heater coil. The heating tubular is used inside of nozzle body. It will touch the plastic melt directly. Otherwise, heater coil is rolled in the surface of nozzle body. When it start working, the heat is transmitted by the nozzle body. Heating coil hasn’t touch the plastic melt directly. The outside hot runner heating method is better than the inside hot runner heating method. Now we always use heater coil instead of heater tubular.

About manifold heating, we will choose heater strip. It is put in the groove in the manifold which processed in advance. And then the heater strip will be covered by the brass. The brass is to protect and fix heater strip.
